For some cars, there’s a simple answer: Start your car’s engine and press on each brake pedal 20 times to push any excess air out of the system (it will take less effort than before because there is no more air in the lines).

In this case, there was a problem with the brake fluid recipient and we used professional advice to do it in our garage.

We are not pros so be careful and take all the safety measures. If you don’t have any experience, it’s safer to go to “the guy” or the service station.

The Brake Pads and The Brake Discs were in very good condition. Still, a brake efficiency of 47%. After a check, the brake fluid recipient was obviously broken. After pressing the brake pedal 2-3 times, the brake was better.

You need a Torx set of tools to remove the front of the car. With a screwdriver, remove the silver element.

Remove the antenna and the small panel behind it. I have removed the front part alone, but it’s much easier in two. Then, remove the headlight.

In this case, the brake recipient and the air filter black box, both were damaged. You can change both or you can fix it like this. Definitely, not a pro. Check the brake fluid level.

After the recipient had that problem, there was air in the brake system. Remove the wheels and eliminate the air.

You have to open the brake system at each wheel:
1. Rear right;
2. Rear left;
3. Front left;
4. Front right.

Someone should press the brake pedal 5 times and then keep it pressed. Each pressing should eliminate air and brake fluid. At the last pressing, use the key and close the brake fluid system.

This was the way to eliminate the air. Check the brake fluid again. In our case, the brake was better, but not perfect.

Considering a good brake fluid, almost new pads, and discs, it should work. With considerable risk, we drove the car. After each ride, the brake was better.

After around 300 km the brake is really efficient. We are not experts and we listened to experts advice for this job.
